Create Your Own Reality – Presidential Elections
Interesting observation
When reading the little tidbits of information at the bottom of the screen that CNN provided during the Democratic National Convention it became clear what they think is important to Americans. It was filled with information about former presidential nominees; similarities between Obama and other nominees, like who else had held their acceptance speeches outside; facts about Hillary Clinton’s bid for the White House; interesting facts on other political nominees who became president, and much more. I did note, as an interesting observation, most of the information was about minorities: how many minority (women, Latino, etc.) delegates there are; African-Americans and women who had received nominations previously in America’s history; etc. Many minorities were mentioned. In the comments after Obama’s acceptance speech it was mentioned that he was the first African-American who had received the nomination of a major political party.
What we want to know
I would have liked to hear more about his policies, his innovative thinking, how he has inspired millions of Americans to care about their country again and believe that change can happen here in the United States of America. I would like to hear more about how other innovators in history, who also believed that change could happen, made those changes and in true Law of Attraction fashion I would like to hear more about what those kinds of people and those kinds of changes have done to strengthen America and other countries.
Be the change
It appears to me that Barack Obama is being the change he wishes to see in the world. Everyone can do the same. Remember that the next time you feel a negative emotion and put yourself in their shoes to feel compassion. It will do wonders for our world if everyone did that.
Law of Attraction
I would like to remind everyone that what you put your attention on grows so only give your attention to those things that you DO want or the presidential candidate that you want in office. Elections have been won by those who just had the most attention, be it positive or negative. "Pay" your attention carefully.
So, what does Life want?
If we look past the superficial and get into the Essense of Life we have to follow our guidance to what we need to do to manifest the world the way we want it to be. We are creating our world, one thought at a time. We operate as a collective and we must take responsibility for what we have manifested up to this point and decide what we want to manifest next. This can be the dawning of a new day for the world through the example of choosing to look at POSSIBILITIES and deciding which of those possibilities we want to turn into our reality.
Conversations with God
In Neale Donald Walsch‘s book series, Conversations with God, God talks to Neale about the problems in our world and mentions that it requires a change in belief to change those problems. Basically, we can’t solve our problems with the same thinking and beliefs that got us into them. He also points out that a country’s government is a reflection of its spirituality. Well, it sounds like Barack Obama gets it and is already working to change beliefs by giving people something to believe in again. And from one of Neale’s books, let’s not let our world be decided by F.A.T.E.: From All Thoughts Everywhere.
How can we serve Life in our politics?
We create our own reality. It’s time to choose your own thoughts (be responsible for what you think) and choose those thoughts that are what you DO want to manifest.
Follow your guidance
Remember that following your guidance means that after you decide what it is that you want to listen to your heart to lead you to do those things that will create the outcome you want. That’s the boiled down version. If you don’t know what I’m talking about I suggest you read Ask and It Is Given.
Did you catch how Barack finished his speech with the closing line of the letter from the Hopi elders: "We are the ones we’ve been waiting for"?
Choose love. Choose the life you want. Make a decision and follow it through. If it feels good, it has to turn out the way you want it to.
Remember to love, love, love, love, love! Love IS the answer.

CardioCallanetics
What this is
CardioCallanetics is a complete-body workout that includes aerobics and toning. It’s based on the Callanetics method of exercise which is designed to get you in shape quickly and keep you in shape through a combination of yoga and ballet. If you like Callanetics toning exercises and you’re looking to add Callan’s style of aerobics, this is the workout for you.
About this DVD
This DVD includes an explanation of how CardioCallanetics came to be. You can do both routines together, aerobics followed by toning, or separately. The "bonus" at the end of the DVD is for those who feel inspired to become a certified Callanetics instructor. If you aren’t interested in being an instructor you can skip this section. If you are, it tells you where to go for more information or you can just follow the link in this paragraph.
Levels of fitness/ability
They makers have also allowed for different levels of fitness and ability. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student you can follow the exerciser (in the DVD) that’s at the same level you are with the option of switching back and forth if one exercise is easier or harder for you. All three levels are being shown at the same time so you can follow which one works for you.
Segments in the DVD
The DVD is broken-up into segments with the 30 minute aerobic section coming first and the 40 minute toning segment coming afterward. Do them together or separately.
My experience
I really enjoy this method of getting and staying in shape. Both routines were easy to follow and I got results very fast. The very next day I noticed I was standing up straighter. I do the aerobics first thing in the morning. It gets my blood pumping and invigorates me for the day. I go through my day knowing that I’ve done something good to keep myself in shape and my heart healthy. I usually do the toning later in the day, at least once a week. My goal is some form of aerobics (CardioCallanetics, rebounding, walking, bike riding, etc.) every day and toning 2-3 times a week.
More about Callanetics
