About Dr. Sue Morter
Dr. Sue Morter was raised from birth in New Thought so she has a lot to offer in this arena. She is a Chiropractor and has a wellness center where people learn to live well and to live intentionally.
At Revelation 2007
I met her and first heard her speak at the Agape International Spiritual Center‘s annual spiritual conference, Revelation 2007. As part of the theme of, "The Rhythm of a Descended Master", she spoke on "Balancing Our Walk as a Descended Master". She taught that obstacles are in our lives to help us grow and encouraged us to see our obstacles as meant for us and our growth.
My thoughts
I’m sure there’s some way of seeing this through the filter of the Law of Attraction. I really resonate the teachings of Abraham that say we are here to create and have fun, that there isn’t anything we need to do or learn and that going back and reliving something, even to get over it, brings back the vibration of it and can cause us to attract a similar experience. I do see the value in getting rid of blockages from the past "negative" experiences in our lives since those blockages keep us from our joy.
Abraham’s take on it
Abraham says that whatever healing work helps us feel better is worth doing. Dr. Sue also said that what brings up joy will help dissolve blocks. Ah! All I have to do is stay in joy and do those things that make me feel joyous and that alone will help me clean up my act! I got it!
Forgive
Forgiveness is a great one as well. "Forgiveness is something you do for yourself." So it’s worth it to forgive people in your past, in your now and in the future as you are helping yourself to feel better. It also carries through to all areas of your life. She recommends practicing forgiveness every time a thought about something unforgiven comes up. If you still feel an emotional charge around an issue you probably haven’t forgiven completely yet, so you may have to forgive the same person for the same thing more than once. Just do it until you have completely forgiven.
