Children using Heart Virtues
Have you ever had your child come home from an event or after school and they didn’t have a good day? Imagine being able to help them feel better about their experiences while practicing the Heart Virtues and seeing the difference it can make in their lives.
When your child comes home and starts talking about the experience, I suggest you listen intently and ask questions to help them determine which Heart Virtues to send to the people involved at the moment the experience happened. Together with your child, send the necessary Heart Virtues to all those that were involved, at the moment the incident happened, including your child. They will feel better about the experience, it will affect the others involved in the experience and it will change their relationship to the others in the experience. They will see how their life can change by using the Heart Virtues of Appreciation, Compassion, Forgiveness, Humility, Understanding and Valor. This practice will also help them remember to use the Heart Virtues in the moment.
Heck, this can also work great for you. I’m going to start doing this now myself.
